I am thankful to GOD to give me the opportunity to serve the people as Surgeon a creatorto give life to patients.
From ancient Era of Vedas – Yajurved depicting details of operations and describing surgical equipments to Instruments tells volumes of developed medicine in those days. Later in Modern Medicine Era from 500 B.C. to 16th Century developed systems and training of pupils.16th-17th century gave us our system related to Medical Education, Hospital development and different developed systems of medicine leading to MIS and Robotic Surgery. I have seen the gradual change since 1990 onwards and dedicated to enhance its academic learning through ASI/ ASIM.P. Chapter, Medical Colleges Coordinated team and other Medical Platforms.
I am fortunate to be an alumini of M.G.M. Medical College, Indore an Institution of 140 years old, started as KEH Medical School in 1878, 5th school in the Country. It had great teachers of eminence Dr. Beaumant, Dr. Keagan, Dr. Roberts, Dr. Ganpat Sing, Dr. Kane, Padmabhushan Dr. S.K. Mukerjee, Dr. B.C. Bose, Dr. B.B. Ohri, Dr. Pohawalla, Dr. Jungalwala and so many of our modern day teachers of eminence and dedicated. They laid down basic principle of honesty, dedication and determination to serve patient and gave academic training. I owe to all my teachers and bow to them for what I am.
In last 15 years developed a good relationship among Surgeons of all Medical Colleges and Districts and every one actively participating in ASI/ASIM.P. Chapter activities. This is 38th MPASICON and our Surgeons Colleagues participation is exemplary of high quality with cordial and family relationship. Being with them holding various post made me learn about ASI and MP ASI and gradually enrolled 300 members in last 3 years and wish to attain a strength of 1200 in a year time.
Still more than 50% of practicing surgeons are not members and well put efforts to enroll as many as possible.
I vouch to enhance academic activities to at every level from P.G. students to working young surgeons.
I am proud of my team and all the members for their commitments, as seen in last few years.
I am thankful to all my Teacher and Senior Colleagues for their teaching guidance and love to me to bring me to stand on this Dias before you as President, ASI-MP Chapter.
