Dear Tamonas
I am happy to know that the Annual conference of West Bengal Chapter of ASI is being organised from 31st January to 2nd Feb 2014.I am great full for your Invitation but could not attend as already committed to Orissa chapter on same dates. I will miss this great opportunity of meeting my good old friends and reviewing my past memories from 1992 of ASICON at Calcutta down to ASICON of 2012 and now in 2014.I always enjoyed a great fellowship love and affection of people of West Bengal , which is felt by every one coming in their contact. Rabindra poem and music is not limited to institutions or Halls but is vibrant every where in the society as every one is poetic and musical in his profession and work with same dedication and devotion
I will miss two of my great friends Dr NK Paul who was elected as President at ASICON at Indore in 1990 and Dr BK Biswas who was GC member with me . Legendary persons of high quality and now most of you are their Students. Teachers of teacher and I pay my tribute to them WB is doing a good job in promoting Academics at peripheral centres a need of the time.
I wish this conference a great Success.
