Nice beginning of a successful journey of wisdom with purpose to take ASI to glory.
This is just to bring to your kind notice regarding the Constitution of The Association of Surgeons of India, registered on 21-12-2017. I got its copy from ASI office at the ASICON-18 venue and read it completely. I have following observations to make.
(1) This Constitution was first passed at Delhi presented by Dr. ….. and myself in proper legal format. |Later discussed in special meeting and passed at Bangalore. Later presented and passed at Kochin 2012. During my period in 2014. It was placed before the Registrar of Societies and because of many reason, did not come to our knowledge, till I got it on 27.12.2018.
(2) Cover page has one mistake- Registered with the Registrar of Societies, Tamil Nadu.
– It should be as –
CONSTITUTION AND BYE LAWS or
The ASI, registered with the Registrar of Societies of Government of Tamil Nadu
(3) The total format of this booklet is not a legal written Constitution and Bye |Laws as per the LEGAL FORMAT as done for all Associations Academic/Business/Social or otherwise |(Attachment 1)
(4) Page – 1 Memorandum of Association is never a part of Constitution and Bye Laws.
Manual of Memorandum and Procedures are a guide line for the association to run its activities under Constitution and Bye Laws. The AIMS and OBJECTIVE as given in this Memorandum are palced under the first few ARTICLES as – PURPOSE OR AIMS and OBJECTIVE.
