Some points to be added=
Akumni Building foundation stone laid down by the then President of India Hon’ble Sardar Gyani Jail Sing ji on 25/05/1986 on a land allotted and given by Government of MP measuring 4290 sq ft behind PSM block.Alumni Building was sanctioned by Indore Municipal corporation and loan was sanctioned by State bank of India with ground floor and half of under ground for Bank purposes on rent.Other spaces consisting of 8 suits as guest rooms
One hall of 200 seats Alumni Club , cafeteria, Library etc..Later the land was denotifies by the Government on the recommendation of Dean for the use og College.
Dr chhaparwal and dr Shukla requested the Dean to look into the matter and get the land back so the Alumni building could be constructed for the use of Alumni and College for its use. Dean Dr Rathore assured to help in this matter. dr Shukla requeste the newly formed team to take up this matter at political level and get the land back for Alumni association. Dr Arun Agarwal said to use his political connection at higher level to get it done.
This newly formed Coordinating committee will be for One year. Members to be enrolled as many as possible on the contribution decided.
with in one year a new Gebnera body be called and decide about the election of office bearers as per Alumni constitution.
Alumni Constitution is registered and so also the Alumni Association of KEH Medical School and MGM Medical College Indore. Registration number is 2117 /1971 dated 25/3/1971.. Original Certificate is not traceable. Application is made to get duplicate copy to the Registrar of Societies Bhopal and Joint Registrar Indore.
Dr Shukla and Dr Chhaparwal requested the Dean to allow the Alumni Association to enroll the members after passing the final MBBS part two while taking leaving certificate after filling the required form and deducting the Life membership from their Caution Money. All members agreed and Dean Dr Rathore assured to help in this matter..
Dr Chhaparwal raised the issue of Caution money unclaimed for since college inception runs in Lakhs and requested the Dean to transfer the same to Alumni Association. dr Rathore assured to look into this and act as per Government rules applicable in this matter.
One name approved as member of coordination committee is missing . Please add the name of Smita Mehta Opthalmologist..
I am thank full to you and your team for nice arrangements and very amicable way the meeting went.A very enthusiastic group and seems to be committed to the cause of Alumni Association MGM.
