Lesson Learnt from Basant Panchami and Basant Ritu
- Basant Panchami a day of Birth of Goddess Saraswati representing Wisdom of Culture, Music and Knowledge and Education.
- Basant Ritu is a season of colour of life to keep everyone happy. Enjoy mixing with everyone in society, sharing every movement and help each other. All Humans are equal.
- Keep away all worldly jugglery and differences. Be a devotee in true sense to realize the eternal bliss.
- Respect nature i.e. Environment consisting of water, air, sun and earth, that gives life to us. Nurture it and flourish to give humanity to live peacefully and happy.
- We may be BIG, but nothing before NATURE of God.
Basant Panchami – is a day starting festival of Basant synonymous with harvesting and hope for better future. It is celebrated as festival pronounced in Yellow Colour and SAFRON. Vegetables, pulses, mustard flowers with yellow colours gives a beautiful combination of colours in the field which is eye pleasing and heartwarming. It is fragerant filled joyous feeling. Season is changing from cold to gradual summer with moderate temperatures, gives feeling of brightness and inner happiness. People like to play out door games starting with PATANG (Kite) flying in sky and enjoying each other company with kite fighting exuberating their passion of involvement without loss or gain.
In Indian mythology, it is 5th day of Shukl Paksha ¼‘शुक्ल पक्ष½ of the month of Magh of Indian Calendar and birth of DEVI SARASWATI, idol of Wisdom, Culture and Music. Maa Saraswati is Goddess of peace, and happiness in every one life. She is worshipped before starting any Educational, Cultural, Musical or Social events to give strength and guide to complete the function peacefully with success. It is devotion to Goddess Saraswati which keeps followers in great spirit of confidence, tranquility and to perform in the interest of people and society with success.
Saraswati Goddess of Wisdom, let you develop your own mind by reading, learning and experiencing from actions and results of various activities undergoing in society. It helps in maturing your mind to judge good from bad and nurture to grow with Wisdom to guide your life as well society. It is TAPASAYA of self-meditation, to understand truth of life and act to rejuvenate the society with direction to bring light to everyone. You may give Knowledge of various subjects but to bring this knowledge into Wisdom is the true PUJA or worship of Saraswati.
Saraswati is Goddess of Music and Culture. VEENA a musical instrument she always keep in her hands. It is vibration of the instruments with various tunes gives pleasant feeling to join chord with the Goddess to get pleasant feeling of eternity. Music keeps one away from all worldly jugglery to be in his own self to realize the eternal bliss.
Goddess of Culture and Dance. Every action of body is devoted to Goddess Saraswati who guides you to different rhythm and reach the ultimate of dancing to realize its eternity. Ultimately you reach to the dome of Goddess with devotion and get Her blessings to rise in your life.
Goddess of festival to keep all humans in same wave length of peace and happiness with prosperity. She unites every one through BASANT RITU, the period of comfortable weather and flourishing harvest in the field. All humans are same, but their devotion to the almighty and the nature where we live makes the difference. Wind, Water, Sun and Earth are part of your life. You survive because of their blessings. Humanity depends upon Nature consisting of wind, sun, water and earth (Environment). Our survival depends upon their goodness. Value it, nurture it and save their purity to serve humanity.
We may have grown in our fields very high with Blessings of all Elders Teachers and God who nurtured you and guide you to show path of success. Goddess Saraswati helps in developing your personality, soft, viable, colourful, musical and attractive to shine in society. Pray for her blessing to inculcate all virtues she possesses.
Be kind and possess colour of BASANT that is Colour of Wisdom and Happiness to shine in this world to make others happy. This is the lesson of this day and this season of “BASANT”.
