Dear Lion Leaders,
I am a Lion member of more than 40 years and enjoyed every moment of it and admire its principal which made me a good Leader and more so a better Human being.
Multiple-323 will be divided into various multiple next year and chance to meet so many Lion Leaders of excellence on one platform and enjoy high quality deliberations will be less.
At the outset, I will like to bring one basic and important objective of LCI – “RECOGNITION”. Years and Years I have been learning from senior Leaders at various stages – Seminars,in various Leadership Institutes, Lion’s Schoolings and Club to International Conferences explaining its importance. In fact, we are forgetting its practical importance and an act of pleasing an individual spreading Lion’s moto of love and fellowship to live in peace. These small gestures are a BIG work out in enhancing Lion’s image.
I have enjoyed various positions in last 40 years in my Club, District (P.D.G.) and Multiple (Joint Editor The Lion Magazine) and various other positions and served to the best of my abilities.
My other achievements (Non Lionistic) in last 5 years have been of National and International importance like
– President – Association of Surgeons of India – 2014
– Chairman/ Chief Editor – Indian Journal of Surgery (2003-2013)
– Felicitation and Honour by Association of Surgeons of America- San Francisco USA-2014
– Coordinator – Academic SAARC and ASEAN Countries (2014-16)
– ICON Surgeon of SAARC – 2015
– AWARD OF HONOUR – Association of Surgeons of India -2016
I think few of above honours I received needed the attention of Lions Leaders, though, I have been giving information through personal communications News Papers, my mails and other means of information technologies.
I relished every moment in Lionism and promote as much as possible. I do not need any recognition officially, as I enjoy great personal relationship with every one.It is my feeling to follow basic principle to promote Lionism and give a message of importane to a Lion Member that Associatio and its Leaders CARE for them.
