I wish all the members of Governing Council (Executive Body) a very Happy, Joyful, Purposeful and decisive year ahead.
Those in first term of EC faced ordial even elected lawfully and faced unnatural and ignominious situation at Gurgaon, but came out victorious with solidarity and purity of thoughts to strengthen ASI. Members in second term are matured enough and had seen good functioning of ASI, followed by a year of uncertainties, and unlawful actions to stall the Association.It opened many court cases but ultimate decisions to uphold ASI Constitution and rebuff to illegal orders. Dust has settled down with clear sky and rays of hope by determined, hard working and truthful leaders specially President S.K. Misra. Regular work started with new set up in ASI-Office. Routine work is fast paced. Academic activities have been framed and underprocess. Past Social Schemes are in progress. State Chapters and speciality sections met on 05.03.2017 with good participants and fully supported actions of the President and endorsed future programmes. Given first hand informations on various programmes and there responsibilities in carrying out them.
Now ball is in your Court. Listen carefully to various ideas and programmes of the President and sharing some responsibilities to fullfill it objectively with your positive efforts will take ASI long way. Discussions on various aspects of ASI working including individuals who harmed ASI will be on table. Listen all aspects and satisfy before taking decision in the interest of ASI without emotions and prejudices.
Your life like any other Surgeon, has seen all seasons and came out glorious with truthful actions. Doing duty for your professional organization should be to enhance its aims and objectives, not allow other to block its functions. Miscreants are to be delt with bold decisions to purge them out for quality and peaceful functioning.
Our life’s balance sheet has many columns vacant. Fill it up with your courageous and truthful actions to come out glorious. Your destiny has brought you in the noble profession serving humanity, His creation. You are full filling his objective to live happily and help others to live happily. It is as an example to be followed by others with self-contentment.
I am happy to be one of you and value your respect, love and affection. My guidance is to show a path of kind virtue to follow basic principle of life under guidelines of the organization to bring faith in the Institution.
